Our history

The history of Powerpack nv goes back to 1963 when the Heijmeyer family started in Beerse (B) with the production of general PE packaging. Fardem nv was born and grew into a leading international producer. After a management buyout in the mid-nineties, Fardem nv was renamed Fardis nv and even listed some time at the Brussels Stock Exchange. It was the start of a rapid expansion with a lot of acquisitions as a result. Nicoba group took over the assets in 2003, led by the entrepreneur Mr. Rudi Borré, who transferred the assets to a new company, Powerpack nv.
On May 1st, 2016, Powerpack nv was taken over by entrepreneur Willem Van den Berghe. A new business model was implemented with focus on sustainability and innovation.
